Proposals Assistant – In Office (Houston, TX)

Summary:

ATSER has an opening for a Proposal Assistant to join our high-performing team. This role provides hands-on experience in proposal development for major infrastructure, engineering, and construction projects — including work related to transportation systems, public facilities, and construction management technologies.

As Proposal Assistant, you will work closely with the Senior Proposal Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to gain exposure to the behind-the-scenes strategy, coordination, and precision that goes into winning large-scale government contracts. This is an excellent starting point for individuals seeking to grow into proposal coordination, marketing, or project management roles within the engineering and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and formatting proposal documents.
• Maintain and update resumes, project sheets, and other boilerplate content.
• Track RFQs/RFPs and proposal deadlines.
• Help coordinate communication with subconsultants for teaming and documentation.
• Support in preparing compliance checklists and ensuring document accuracy.
• Organize digital files and maintain proposal folders in shared drives.
• Provide general administrative support as needed (e.g., printing, scanning, formatting, scheduling).
• Conduct light research on agencies, clients, and opportunities when needed.
