#tbt ATSER’s Provides UDOT’s FIRST DB Project with Materials and Testing Software

How is this for #tbt:

ATSER’s first major project, the UDOT I-15 Corridor Reconstruction Project, was Utah’s first design-build procurement project.

Salt Lake City was selected to host the 2002 Winter Olympics, and an increase in highway traffic was expected. The construction schedule was accelerated, involving construction or reconstruction of more than 130 bridges, seven urban interchanges, and three major junctions.[/vc_column_text]

Now, this was back in the day (1997) when the internet was a brand new thing and smartphones didn’t exist. ATSER saw an opportunity to streamline the inspection and testing process with an offline app to use on Personal Digital Assistants or PDA’s (the 1997 version of a smartphone) that collected data from the field.

Now, we have come a long way since those early days.

Today, Assure-IT is an interactive Quality Management System that automates laboratory testing of construction materials that works on all mobile devices and platforms. Our robust Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) features:
