Design

At one time or another every program manager will experience some form of the proverbial good news / bad news scenario below.  For example, the good news is that the voters approved a major new bond issue for renovation of a large number of structures.  Your department now has job security because the design phase of the bond issue must now begin in earnest.  The bad news is that you are now expected to manage several design projects simultaneously without any increase in headcount.  Adding to this bad news is the knowledge that these structures are scattered across a large geographical area.

Does your present design management system enable your entire enterprise to?

  • Create and manage a large number of new projects rapidly
  • Integrate with third party project schedule software such as Microsoft project.
  • Prepare cost versus budget reconciliation documents required to meet public transparency requirements.
  • Setup design agreements with multiple vendors that can be efficiently accessed and utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process invoices associated with the projects from receipt to approval to payment in a timely manner.
  • Access the original documents from anywhere to verify signoff against work order requirements.
  • Rapidly produce standard reports (such as variance budget reports, priority project, project phase chart reports, project schedule reports, etc.,) requested by various stakeholders.

If managing tasks like these is taking away from time spent in the field (or even worse time invested with your family at home) then perhaps it is time for you to investigate the power of ATSER Design Management software.
